Call for contributions: A Multi-authored Book Project - Towards Sustainable, Knowledge and Ethical Societies

Following the conference series, authors are invited to submit contributions to a book series by the same name.

Eligible papers from the three conferences will be included in the books and this call provides the opportunity for additional authors to enter into and enrich the dialogue with their submissions.

Globethics.net is organising a series of three international online conferences on the theme “Towards Sustainable, Knowledge and Ethical Societies - The Contribution of Higher Education Institutions”, and invites your active participation and contribution.

Each conference is a two-day event, three hours each day, organized by the Globethics.net Regional Offices, in Latin America, India/Asia and East Africa respectively, with the support of the Globethics.net Head Office in Geneva, Switzerland and in collaboration with one or more partner higher education institutions in the respective regions. Each conference will highlight some of the priorities and the flavour of the hosting region while also retaining an international scope.

Call for abstracts

This call for abstracts and papers is for all three of the conferences on the theme “Towards Sustainable, Knowledge and Ethical Societies - The Contribution of Higher Education Institutions”. Your active participation and contribution are encouraged and papers are welcome from anywhere in the world.

A select number of abstracts will be chosen for presentation at each of the three conferences. Those selected will be invited to expand their abstract into a full paper and share it at the respective online conference/s.

• Conference 1: “Developing Sustainable Societies through Higher Education” 26-27 May 2022, Latin America
• Conference 2: “Shaping Knowledge Societies through Higher Education” 15-16 June 2022, India/Asia
• Conference 3: “Promoting Ethical Societies through Higher Education” 7-8 July 2022, East Africa

You are invited to submit an abstract for any/or all of the three conferences by midnight CET on 2 May 2022.

Selected papers will be invited by the Publication Editorial Board to deepen their work into a chapter of the three-volume, peer-reviewed publication project to be published in the Globethics.net Series.
