Education as a Gateway to an Ethical and Peaceful World

Jointly organised by Globethics.net India, Edugroom India Foundation and the Journal of Dharma, this conference attempts to address the concerns and provide insights into the issues and challenges of education for an ethical and peaceful world.

An ethical and peaceful society is the primary necessity for human civilization and has become more important nowadays. Every country is concerned about the improvement and maintenance of ethics and peace in society.

Because of this, the government is trying to introduce ethical education in schools and colleges. Consequently, it has been introduced into many educational institutions either as separate programs or is integrated within the various subject materials, hoping to trigger positive changes.

Research shows that the sooner the children get introduced to the knowledge of ethics and peace, the greater the chance of them developing values and becoming positive change agents in the future. While these programs are being introduced into teaching institutions worldwide, it seems that still more attention and effort are required.

Learning Objectives

This conference aims to discuss the fundamental issues, importance and challenges of ethics and peace, which can be included in higher studies. Focusing on these critical areas, the program will enable participants to develop insight into the inculcation of ethics and peace among teachers, students, participants, etc.
