About this event
The capacity of human to engage in loving relationships is broadly considered as a vital condition for the continuity of individual and communal life. This conversation aims at stimulating a reflection on how humaneness finds its expression in the considerate and caring attention for other humans and nature by drawing on various contextual examples.
Is love always good? Is it true that love wins over everything? Common sense says that no matter how disastrous the outcome of certain actions, if the intention behind it is a loving one, then that action could be considered good or at least forgivable. Professor Ferrarello thinks we can do better than this. In our final Blue Table Webinar series "What it Means to be Human", we will examine this very human feeling and its ethics, especially in the influence it exerts on our personal life and the society around us.
